Final Fantasy Music Online used to live at ffmusiconline.net until moving to http://x111.com/ffmo/. One day, a guy decided to restore the domain for posterity.

Thanks to the Wayback Machine, ffmusiconline.net has been restored to its former glory.

With E3 over a few weeks ago and FFXIII making a spectacular entrance, it was quite unexpected when they announced who the main composer would be for the game so soon after it's announcement.

Masashi Hamauzu will be the main composer for the series, with Nobuo Uematsu continuing to provide the main theme for the title. It will be interesting to see how this project develops from a musical standpoint.

In other news, Final Fantasy Music Online now has an unofficial tracklisting for the upcoming Final Fantasy XII Original Soundtrack so be sure to check that out!.

Recently some unfortunate news concerning the Final Fantasy XII Original Soundtrack was announced. The news was to inform the public that it's release has infact been delayed back until the 31st of May.

In lighter news though, I am happy to announce that Final Fantasy Music Online now has a review of Symphonic Poem "Hope" up ready for people to read. Hopefully it will give an insight into the main theme from Final Fantasy XII.

I would also like to encourage everyone to visit the forums and participate in our Group Review of the Final Fantasy VII Original Soundtrack. Make sure you read the rules before taking part though.

Aniplex, the publisher for the Final Fantasy XII Original Soundtrack, have announced that the Limited Edition version of the upcoming Soundtrack will be able for purchase on the 19th of April, 2006. The Soundtrack is being composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto and features a single composer by Nobuo Uematsu.
